Originally from Atlantic City, Sharon Sable grew up immersed in the music industry. As a young recording artist for LaFace/Arista Records in Atlanta, she recorded alongside pop and R&B heavyweights including Pink, Babyface, and Boyz II Men. Seeking a deeper artistic connection away from the mainstream industry, Sharon returned to the Mid-Atlantic to forge a personal, lifelong musical path—unearthing hidden treasures that lie far beyond the Top 40.

Deeply inspired by vocal icons ranging from Eva Cassidy and Björk to Blossom Dearie and Abbey Lincoln, Sharon curates a distinct repertoire that she describes as "music that softens the world." Her performances blend classic vocal jazz, Brazilian bossa nova, and French swing with carefully selected songs centered on social justice, courage, and gratitude.

Now based in Wilmington, DE, Sharon is recognized as one of the region’s most beloved interpreters of song. Alongside her husband and musical partner, multi-instrumentalist E. Shawn Qaissaunee, she maintains a busy touring schedule across the East Coast. The duo recently had the distinct honor of sharing the stage for an impromptu performance with the legendary Stevie Wonder, and opened for Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist Stanley Jordan. As featured performers at the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, Sharon and her ensemble regularly sell out rooms across the region, including The Mainstay, The Listening Room at Cedar Grove, 49 West, Milton Theatre, Opera Delaware, and the Uptown Performing Arts Center.

Sharon’s recorded work mirrors her live sophistication. Her full-length album, Love Evermore, is a sublime collection of timeless jazz standards arranged around themes of universal love and awakening. Her subsequent release, Once Upon a Summertime: The Music of Blossom Dearie (a collaboration with luminary pianist Joe Holt), continues to earn critical acclaim.
